Kaps - Killamarsh Autistic & PDA Support Group was founded by Jane-marie Wright at St.Giles School in the North-East Derbyshire village of Killamarsh in May 2003.  In the summer of 2004 Kaps ran it's very first summer playscheme with £1,000 donated from The Primary Care Trust.  Kaps enjoyed offering short respite relief that included a play scheme/club and residentials for young people and children who have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, PDA or other Spectrum conditions from May 2004.  Sadly in July 2023 Kaps officially closed as a community group when funding ceased.
