Kappers

 

A lot of our Kappers used to be Mini Kaps and as they stretched their wings became Kappers.

 

Kappers are aged 9 - 12 years old.  Their activities in the summer ranged from loads of adventures - going to new places and trying out new things. 

 

In 2018 our Kappers went on their very first Residential at Lea Green at Matlock in Derbyshire.  The residential experience was a really important time at Kaps and encourages independence, social skills and problem-solving.  One of our residentials was made possible due to one of our parents  bravely parachuting from a plane in 2017.  This raised some vital funds which have been used to give this opportunity.

In July 2023 Kaps officially closed as a community group.
